Theatre Team Leader - Ballito

POSITION INFO:

Key Performance Areas:

vAbility to plan, organise, control, lead and direct the team to achieve the company goals.

vAbility to understand and follow policies, procedures and protocols.

vHave good leadership and problem solving skills.

vAbility to supervise the staff within the Theatre.

vGood Interaction skills with doctors, patients and colleagues essential.

vAbility to handle all conflict situations in the Theatre.

vAbility to uphold legislation required to DOH, SANC/DOL.

vEquipment maintenance and motivations.

vRecruitment of nursing personnel.

vAbility to lead and supervise staff.

vCompetent with the Hospital Regulations and Policy.

vAbility to plan strategically and financially.

vAbility to teach staff in the unit.

vTo ensure the Theatre is run to the highest standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

vApproximately five (5) years experience as a Sister, deputising for the Unit Manager.

vTheatre experience.

vMust have Theatre Tech qualification.

vDiploma in Nursing Administration is essential and midwifery would be advantageous.

vThe ideal person will have willingness to assume job ownership, work independently.

vComputer literacy – MS Word & Excel.
