Temporary Payroll Administration Officer 
Nelspruit, Mpumalanga
R 35 000 - R 50 000 CTC (D.O.E)

An established institution is seeking a Temporary Payroll Administration Officer to support the payroll function for a 6 month period.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Matric plus a valid degree or diploma in Finance, Human Resources or related qualification 
• 3 Years’ experience in a payroll environment
• Experience on PeopleSoft or similar payroll systems will be advantageous
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills; proficient in Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Good knowledge of SARS legislation and payroll compliance
• Must be available immediately

• Administer and process payroll-related transactions accurately and timeously
• Process salary, travel, overtime, and secondary claims
• Recover unreconciled staff advances and manage advance payments
• Implement and monitor payroll controls to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Prepare monthly payroll, salary expense, control account, and staff advance reconciliations
• Resolve payroll-related queries and liaise with internal stakeholders
• Support users on automated payroll and claims systems
• Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll information
