Temporary Debtors Clerk (3 - 4 Month Temp Contract)

SUMMARY:
Our client based in Stikland is looking for a Temporary Debtors clerk with 2-5 years experience in a similar position to join their team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certificate/Diploma in the finance field or higher qualification.
• 5 Years relevant experience
• Working knowledge of Sage Evolution
• Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, and to manage one's own time.
• Afrikaans & English

• Daily debtors update on Debtors Manager.
• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, accuracy, and proper codes.
• Record and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers.
• Code documents according to company procedures.
• Compile reports pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, accounts receivable.
• Debit, credit, accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software.
• Operate computers programmed with accounting software to generate, record, store, debtors information.
• Receive, record, payments from debtors.
• Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
• Assist the Financial Manager with monthly management reports.
• Report to Financial Manager and MD regarding any anomaly in the finances
