SUMMARY:

An international seed company based in Gauteng, is seeking an energetic, professional and efficient Creditor Clerk within the Financial Department to help for a period of 6 months.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a Grade 12, with passes in English and Mathematics
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a creditor clerk position will be required
Must be Computer literate in Excel and use of an ERP system
Good communication and writing skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, are important
Must have a valid driver’s license and own transport
Must have a clear ITC, credit and criminal record

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Processing of all supplier’s invoices and credit notes timeously before month end.
Receiving of certain non-stock items.
Matching of all necessary documentation required to make payments.
Ensuring the completion of creditors reconciliations within set deadlines and the timeous resolution of supplier queries.
Opening new accounts on ERP System.
Processing of payments weekly and at month end.
Completing general ledger reconciliations.
Obtaining BBB-EE certificates for all suppliers and keep BBB-EE listing updated
Assisting auditors with year-end audits.
Processing all creditors correspondence.

Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience
