About the Role
Our client is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Temporary Administrator to provide administrative and secretarial support to their branch in Mossel Bay. This is a fixed-term contract opportunity for a highly organised individual with proven experience in a public sector environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide secretarial services to the branch.
Deliver comprehensive administrative support to branch operations.
Coordinate and facilitate the procurement of goods and services.
Implement and maintain an effective filing and records management system.
Prepare, manage, and maintain administrative documentation and correspondence.
Support the efficient functioning of the branch through general office administration.
Perform any other administrative duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
Experience
Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an administrative role.
Public sector experience is a non-negotiable requirement.
Demonstrated experience in procurement administration, records management, and general office administration within a public sector environment.
Skills and Competencies
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Sound understanding of filing and record management systems.
