Temporary Administrator (3-Month Contract)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Temporary Administrator to provide administrative and secretarial support to their branch in Bellville. This is a fixed-term contract opportunity for a highly organised individual with proven experience in a public sector environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide secretarial services to the branch.

• Deliver comprehensive administrative support to branch operations.

• Coordinate and facilitate the procurement of goods and services.

• Implement and maintain an effective filing and records management system.

• Prepare, manage, and maintain administrative documentation and correspondence.

• Support the efficient functioning of the branch through general office administration.

• Perform any other administrative duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 (NQF Level 4).

• Certificate in Administration (NQF Level 5).

Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an administrative role.

• Public sector experience is a non-negotiable requirement.

• Demonstrated experience in procurement administration, records management, and general office administration within a public sector environment.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong administrative and organisational skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Sound understanding of filing and record management systems.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
