Telesales/Sales Orders Clerk

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Pomona area is looking for a Telesales/Sales Orders Clerk. This is an EE opportunity.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate (Matric)
• Syspro system - experience essential
• Minimum of 3 years-experience in similar position
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office and Syspro)
• Maintain spreadsheets and other sales related documents
• Manage order entry in company approved programs mainly Syspro
• Have a clear, pleasant phone manner
• Be able to communicate effectively with all types of people regardless of geographic or demographic considerations

Duties:

• Respond to inbound customer enquiries for information such as ship dates, or other existing order questions
• Acquire knowledge of customer base. Understand and be able to use correct, complete orders and answer customer questions
• Send literature as requested by customers or sales reps using current catalogue available. Organise samples according to Sales requests
• Learn customer levels, price guide, product line, imprint specifications, production guidelines and shipping information to provide superior customer service
