Telematics Solutions Sales Consultant (Telecoms)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in the Telecoms Industry is looking to hire a Telematics Solutions Sales Consultant.

Duties and Responsibilities

Market our tracking and Fleet management solutions to new clients
Canvass new business from a variety of sources, i.e., Brokers, Dealers & Commercial clients
Provide product information
Customer Service for existing clients
Provide quotes and cold calling on new clients
Sell tracking units and subscriptions according to annual targets set
Administration of sales contracts
Complete reports
Work to set targets
Attend to necessary administration

Requirements

Senior Certificate (essential)
Min of 3 years’ experience selling tracking solutions
Technical Knowledge
Product Knowledge

Competencies

Computer literacy, MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook
Sales experience in business to business
Sales experience in the insurance and or vehicle dealer industry will be an advantage
Sales experience in the Fleet management, logistics and trucking companies will be an advantage
Contactable client references will be required
Knowledge of tracking solutions and the relevant technology
A proven track record in a service orientated sales environment
Proven sales track record
Valid Driver’s License
Must be willing to travel
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Excellent negotiating and sales skills
Independent worker
Good business acumen
Ability to work under pressure
Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
Honest and reliable
Punctual
Perform well under pressure
Entrepreneur flair
Solution Driven
