POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Qualified Electrician (Trade Test Certified).
• Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with:
• Electrical installations and equipment.
• Transformers, PFCs, Substations, MCCs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems efficiently.
• Experience with routine maintenance in large-scale utilities environments.
• Experience in a dairy, beverage, or food processing plant.
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, or food industry compliance standards.
• Strong documentation and computer literacy skills.

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in transformers, Power Factor Correction systems (PFC), substations, and MCCs.

• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and compliance with relevant legislation.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
• Participate in inspections and audits as required.
