SUMMARY:
2x vacancy exists for Technicians in the Technical Division based at Glencore.

POSITION INFO:
The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Electronic Security Equipment;
Regular communication and development of a good relationship with client;
Attention to detail on all aspects of relevant responsibilities;
Adhering to Health and Safety Regulations;
Available to be on standby on weekly rotation;

Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:

Grade 12 Matric Certificate
Technical Qualification in CCTV & Alarm Equipment (HCSA & IDS Certified Installer) advantageous
Knowledge of Hikcentral and Ubiquiti Wireless Communication Equipment
Basic Networking Skills
Valid Firearm Competency for Business in the following Firearms - Handgun, Shotgun & Rifle
Statement of Results for firearm training Personal & Business use
Sound Knowledge and understanding of CCTV Systems, Access Control, Fire, Alarms, and Intrusion Systems
Driver’s license
Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record
