The company specializes in lift trucks and warehouse equipment. It operates a service department responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment both on-site and off-site.

The Role: Technician

The purpose of this role is to provide technical and diagnostic assistance within the service department as per customer requirements. The primary focus is performing repairs and preventative maintenance on forklifts and warehouse equipment both in the workshop and on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Repairing, servicing, and maintaining IC and electric forklifts on customer sites and in the workshop, requiring 5 years of experience with electric lift trucks.

• Completing job cards and using the PhoneApp.

• Communicating effectively with managers, the call centre, and customers at all levels.

• Maintaining clean work areas and ensuring daily housekeeping of maintenance zones.

• Travelling to various sites to perform required maintenance and repairs.

• Adhering to all safety, health, and environmental (SHE) requirements.

• Assisting with general maintenance activities as needed.

About You

• 5 years of experience servicing and repairing electric lift trucks.

• Diesel, Auto Electric, or Forklift trade test certificate.

• Valid driver''s licence.

• Knowledge of basic mechanical systems.

• IC knowledge and experience.

• Sober habits, self-motivated, well-disciplined, and able to work with minimum supervision.

• Strong team player with the ability to communicate with customers at all levels.
