About Our Client

The company operates a service department that works with internal combustion and electric forklifts as well as warehouse equipment. It provides maintenance, diagnostic assistance, and repair services both on-site at customer locations and in a workshop.

The Role: Technician

The purpose of this role is to provide technical and diagnostic assistance within the service department. The position focuses on the repair, service, and preventative maintenance of internal combustion and electric forklifts and warehouse equipment on-site and off-site.

Key Responsibilities

Possess 5 years of experience with servicing and repairing electric lift trucks.
Repair, service, and maintain internal combustion and electrical forklifts on customer sites and in the workshop.
Complete job cards or use the PhoneApp.
Communicate with managers, the call centre, and customers.
Perform housekeeping and clean up all maintenance and work areas daily.
Assist with other general maintenance activities.
Travel as required to service and repair equipment on site.

About You

5 years of experience with servicing and repairing electric lift trucks.
Diesel, Auto Electric, or Forklift trade test certificate.
Driver''s licence.
Ability to communicate with customers at all levels.
Adherence to all SHE requirements.
Sober habits, well-disciplined, self-motivated, team player, and able to work with minimum supervision.
Knowledge of basic mechanical systems.
Internal combustion knowledge and experience.
