SUMMARY:
A well-established car dealership based in the Western Suburbs of Johannesburg is seeking a qualified and experienced Technician (Auto Electric & Diesel) for the following branches: Middelburg, Ruimsig and Polokwane to be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and diesel engines of vehicles, ensuring high quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

POSITION INFO:
MINIMUM EDUCATION (FORMAL QUALIFICATION REQUIRED)
Auto Electrician

National Certificate: Automotive Repair and Maintenance (NQF Level 3)
National Diploma: Automotive Electrical Systems (NQF Level 5)
Section 13 Trade Test Certificate: Auto Electrician (issued by the Department of Higher Education and Training
Certificate of Competence: Auto Electrician (issued by the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers), and/or

Diesel Mechanic

National Certificate: Diesel Mechanic (NQF Level 3)
National Diploma: Diesel Mechanics (NQF Level 5)
Section 26D Trade Test Certificate: Diesel Mechanic (issued by the Department of Higher Education and Training)
Certificate of Competence: Diesel Mechanic (issued by the South African Institute of Mechanical Engineers)

LEGAL (E.G. DRIVERS LICENCE, SAICA ACCREDITATION, PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP)

A valid Code 8 (B) or higher driver's license

TRAINING

Manufacturer technical training

EXPERIENCE (MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - TYPE AND NUMBER OF YEARS)
3 - 5 years of practical experience in the field
