SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for an IT Technician (Only for people with disabilities)

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
At least three years’ experience in the above fields of disciplines

Additional Requirements:

Experience of working in a laboratory related environment preferably within a university

Summary of Duties:

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Experience in Software Development using Java, C/C++, Python, Matlab, Process Maker
Experience in emerging technologies for fourth industrial revolution (4IR)
Ensure security of equipment in laboratories
Ensure basic maintenance of electronic equipment
Assist in tutoring
Operate high-speed and large-format printers
Booking of computer facilities
Provide practical training to students
Maintain laboratory usage, devices and equipment
Engage in administration duties and identify equipment that need to be sent for repairs
Obtain quotations and liaise with the finance and procurement departments
Oversee practice-based learning in joint assignments across the faculty
Undertake duties as assigned by the Executive Dean in charge of laboratory.
