We are looking for an experienced Technical Training Manager for an Electronic Security products company on the East Rand

RESPONSIBILITIES

Â

• Communicate with Regional Managers, Branch Managers and internal stakeholders to determine training needs
• Analyse skill gaps at a branch, team, and individual level
• Formulate training policies, programs, and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs, changes in products, and or services
• Prepare and implement training budget
• Assist with the development of strategic plans
• Amend and revise training programs as necessary, to adapt to changes in products and
• technologies
• Selects appropriate instructional procedures as per requirements
• Organizes and develops training manuals, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials
• Develop e-learning courses, including the identification, and implementation an appropriate Learning Management System (LMS) with relevant IT and other assistance
• Conduct pilot training for new courses, collect feedback and evaluate appropriately
• Arrange and train assigned training facilitators in effective techniques for training facilitation
• Manage staff of training facilitators, conduct facilitation performance evaluations
• and feedback
• Management of the Training departments employees
• Research and select outside consultants and trainers to conduct training on relevant and specific topics
• Responsible for the department’s record systems, files and training materials inventory
• Prepare periodic reports and summaries to keep Management apprised of training activities and results
• Responsible for maintenance of equipment, hardware, and software used for
• training purposes
• Accountable for the safekeeping and control of all stock held in the training department warehouses
• Safekeeping and control of all items on the asset registers
• Participate in the marketing, recruitment, and retention of learners
• Promote the company’s training department and training courses both internally and externally
• Maintains ISO compliancy

Requirements

• Relevant post Grade 12/Matric qualification
• MUST have own reliable and fully insured car
• Must have a minimum of +5 years’ Training Manager experience with respect to Electronic Security equipment – CCTV, access control, Fire, PA, Networking, and Integration Experience. This is Non-Negotiable.
• Good MS Office skills including Power point
• Good communication skills – verbal and written with people at all levels
