Technical Repair Manager

Ensuring that all technical repairs, installations and repairs of all equipment applicable to the business are completed in accordance with the Group guidelines and best possible quality standards. Essential that you have experience as a technical manager for small appliances as well as managing a Bench repair facility.

Essential Education and Experience and Skills

• Matric
• Technical Electronics qualification NQF 5 or higher essential
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing technical teams in a service environment
• White Goods experience essential
• Valid Driver’s License Code 8
• Relevant job costing system and IT user experience

Main Responsibilities

• Manage all technical activities (B2B and B2C) in the market
• Take responsibility for the Technical Budget based on business/technical needs
• Manage and drive all key technical reports and reporting
• Manage the Company’s Recycling programs
• Plan and implement technical training
• Ensure compliance of all products with local regulatory requirements
• Manage and co-ordinate all issues relating to compliance of appliances and accessories
• Implement and support incident and crisis management (appliances and accessories)
• Implement and monitor product traceability exercises
• Design appropriate solutions for improvement of existing After Sales Service procedures to meet customer expectations
• Manage after-sales service offerings
• Ensure that labelling information is compliant with local legislation
• Create awareness about the company''''''''s green initiatives
• Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993
