Commencement                 1 Feb 2021 (or as close as possible)

Salary                                 R30 000 – R35 000 CTC Per month (benefits include a Fuel Card, Travel Allowance, Medical Aid Contribution, tools of business (cell, laptop etc)

+ Commission on sales achieved

Reports to:                         the Commercial Manager

Role focus: A Technical Key Accounts Manager whom has specific experience with Retailers and Global Accounts on natural and functional products. The candidate must have demonstrable experience with technical sales in Natural, Functional & Clean Label food ingredients (e.g. natural ingredients (natural flavours/ natural colours), natural raw ingredients, botanical extracts, vitamin & mineral premixes, botanical extracts nutraceuticals etc). Handling of commercial activity with current and potential customers. Predominantly based in Johannesburg (Germiston) with occasional travel domestically and regionally. The ability to offer new ideas and concepts to customers by way of a technical understanding is essential.

 The candidate needs the following skills, experience and abilities

• At least 3 years relevant sales experience with specific experience in selling natural, functional and clean label food ingredients
• Must have specific experience managing global accounts and retailers
• Food Science Degree
• Good people skills and presentable and comfortable with working in a team
• Willingness to travel to clients regionally as well as neighbouring provinces).
• Computer Literate, proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Duties, Skills and Experience

• New business development (50%) and existing business maintenance (50%)
• Conducting market research & following trends and implementing key sales strategies together with Commercial Manager
• Responsible for setting sales budges and meeting them

Remuneration (Total Package)

• R30 000 – R35 000 per month CTC package (Benefits include a Travel Allowance, Fuel Card, medical aid contribution, Cell phone, laptop & tablet)

• + Additional commission on sales achieved
