An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client in the citrus fruit agricultural sector for a Technical Field Officer to be based in Kirkwood.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Harvest estimates, fruit delivery plans, fruit quality, quantity, variations and orchard test results.
Producers list, spray records, Global Gap & SIZA, market requirements, chemical limitations, client records.
Orchard registrations, Daff Inspections, GGAP/SIZA audits, FMS/FFMS/CBS spotchecks, pre-harvest MRL.
Assist with internal BRC Audits.
Arrange grower meetings.

Requirements:

Grade 12 as per the national senior certificate
requirements (Umalusi endorsed)
Additional tertiary qualification will be an advantage
Driver’s License
Applicable DALLRD (DAFF), AVCASA Global Gap and
SIZA experience, in citrus fruit agriculture will be an
advantage
Knowledge of the citrus fruit agricultural industry
Understanding of a pack house operation and
market related requirements
At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
