Our client in the Agricultural industry is looking for a Technical Field Agent to join their team!

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Entomology, Biological Sciences, IPM or a related field, with a BSc (Hons) or MSc being advantageous
3 years’ experience in a client-facing or technical role within the agricultural sector
Previous exposure to agricultural sales, crop production, pest management or a related technical environment
Fluent in both English and Afrikaans
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively to clients across the Cape Winelands, Overberg, Klein Karoo and Garden Route region

Key requirements:

Drive new business development and grow sales within the agricultural sector
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Provide technical advice and recommend suitable IPM and biological solutions
Conduct regular farm visits and assess pest management requirements
Achieve sales targets while delivering excellent technical and customer support
