POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

Matric certificate with passes in Mathematics and Physical Science
Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD) or Technical Drawing as a subject
A Draughting Diploma or Certificate will be highly beneficial
Basic proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD software) advantageous
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
Attention to detail and ability to work within tight tolerances
Good communication skills for effective teamwork and client interaction
Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced engineering environment

DUTIES

Create precise 2D technical drawings for manufacturing and tooling.
Develop and refine 3D CAD models to support product and tool design.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate concepts into manufacturable designs.
Ensure all drawings and models meet industry standards and internal quality requirements.
Participate in design reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
