POSITION INFO:

What You’ll Do:

You will be responsible for translating garment designs into machine-ready knitting programs, ensuring accurate fit, structure, and execution according to detailed specifications. This includes collaborating with design and production teams to ensure quality and consistency across all garments.

What We’re Looking For:

Garment Production Knowledge

Understanding of fabric behaviour with nylon, spandex, polyester blends
Experience working with precise measurements and applying quality control
Familiarity with finishing techniques and garment construction

Pattern Making and Technical Design

Solid grasp of pattern making principles
Ability to create and adjust patterns from sketches or CAD
Strong skills in reading technical specifications and measurement charts
Experience working with knit structures is a major advantage

Machine and Technical Knowledge

Hands-on experience with flat knitting, circular knitting, sewing, embroidery, etc.
Comfort using basic tools and measurements
Understanding of machine programming (or willingness to learn)
Enjoyment of digital pattern making and technical programs
Strong math skills for accurate calculations

Soft Skills

Problem-solver with the ability to work under pressure
Patient and persistent, with a passion for continuous improvement
Excellent communication skills to work across teams (Design, Production, QA)
Willingness and ability to learn machine operations and settings

Learning and Development

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new machines or technical processes
Background in technical training, apprenticeships, or certifications
Familiarity with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and basic computer software
