SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Tax Compliance Officer to join a wellâestablished accounting and advisory firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a detailâoriented, deadlineâdriven tax professional who thrives in a practice environment and enjoys working with a diverse client portfolio.

POSITION INFO:
As a Tax Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for managing the full tax compliance function for an allocated portfolio of clients. You will work closely with individuals, trusts, and companies to ensure accurate, timeous tax submissions, while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting the firm’s commitment to highâquality service and compliance. You will play a vital role in ensuring adherence to SARS regulations, assisting clients with queries, preparing supporting schedules, and maintaining upâtoâdate tax records across multiple entities.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in a tax compliance role, preferably within an accounting practice
Strong working knowledge of SARS eFiling and SARS correspondence systems
Solid understanding of tax legislation and compliance requirements
Proficiency in Excel and tax-related software packages
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Professional communication skills and strong clientâservice orientation

Qualification:
A relevant Tax / Accounting diploma or degree
SAIT accreditation or working toward it (advantageous)
