The Role: Talent Mapper / Research Analyst
This role supports the South African recruitment division by identifying, analysing, and mapping top talent in key markets. You will build strategic pipelines, track competitor insights, and provide recruiters with high-quality candidate data to support ongoing and future hiring needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring 2+ years of experience in research, recruitment analysis, or talent mapping
- Identify and profile potential candidates across industries, functions, and geographies
- Build and maintain accurate talent pipelines for current and future roles
- Map client competitors, hiring trends, and organizational structures
- Engage passive candidates and track long-term availability and interest
- Gather and assess data on candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit
- Compile market intelligence reports, salary benchmarks, and talent availability analyses
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to tailor talent sourcing strategies
- Maintain up-to-date records on ATS, CRM, and other sourcing platforms
About You
- Minimum 2 years experience in recruitment research, sourcing, or data analysis
- Skilled in using LinkedIn, job boards, ATS/CRM systems, and market mapping tools
- Analytical and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proactive mindset with excellent communication and reporting abilities
- Comfortable working independently and supporting multiple recruitment teams
- Knowledge of recruitment markets and role functions is advantageous
