TMO 19521 - Bookkeeper – Manufacturing

Our client has an opportunity for a skilled individual to join their team in the capacity of a Bookkeeper. The successful incumbent is responsible for the following:

• Assist with month-end close processes, including journals, accruals, and provisions
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Ensure compliance with IFRS / relevant accounting standards and company policies
• Process day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate records on SYSPRO
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and flag variances
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure accurate VAT reconciliations
• Assist with income tax calculations and provisional tax submissions
• Ensure supplier payments are accurate, complete, and supported by approved documentation
• Monitor supplier accounts for accuracy, completeness, and timely settlement
• Adhere to internal controls and segregation of duties relating to payments
• Other related duties
