TMO 18809 - Maintenance Technician – Food Manufacturing

Our client who is based in Cape Town has an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• Ensuring that machinery, tools, and production processes operate efficiently while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
• Operate, maintain, and repair production equipment and machinery
• Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and compliance with standards
• Record maintenance activities, production data, and equipment performance
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic faults
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Maintain tools, equipment, and ensure that work areas are in a clean and safe condition
• Other related duties
