TMO 18145 - Regulatory Specialist – Agrochemical

Our client based in Gauteng has an opportunity for an experienced individual to join their team in the capacity of a Regulatory Specialist. The successful applicant with be responsible for the following:

• Compiling and submitting dossiers (technical data packages) to government bodies to obtain licenses for new or modified products.
• Ensuring all products adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental laws, e,g Act No. 36 of 1947
• Acting as the main point of contact for the Department of Agriculture to resolve queries or clarify data.
• Checking product labels and marketing materials to ensure they meet legal requirements regarding safety instructions, warnings, and usage claims.
• Developing regulatory strategies for new product launches, including identifying necessary trials and potential
• Provide technical advise to farmers
• Compile technical evaluation report
• Other related duties
