SUMMARY:
Systems and Support Administrator - Biometrics, Time & Attendance, Payroll experience required for well-established Group with offices in Durban. Experience required includes biometrics software, time keeping, payroll systems, working knowledge of clients in various industries.

POSITION INFO:

Main Job Purpose:

To provide an administrative & support function to assignees, clients, business and the department on payrolling & associated software used by the Client and its subsidiaries.

 

Key Performance Areas

  • Ensure all Company policies, procedures and practices are effectively maintained and adhered to.
  • Assist with onboarding of companies into the existing payrolling and associated systems of the Client and its subsidiaries.
  • Assist with support and training requirements for software used by the Client and its subsidiaries.
  • Assist in engagement with various stakeholders involved in the payroll process to improve efficiency and save costs.
  • Assist with payroll support as and when required.
  • Assist with identifying opportunities for efficiency within the payroll
  • Assist with conducting assessments as required to improve the payroll process i.e. assessing the T&A systems in order integrate directly into their payroll system.
  • Provide support to existing and new time and attendance software clients/users.
  • Setting up of time and attendance software to enable accurate import of time and attendance data into the payrolling system.
  • Manage and prioritize service technician’s call outs.
  • Prepare quotes for business and external clients.
  • Daily importing of client logs from the time and attendance software.
  • Ensure that all hours are captured correctly on the time and attendance software.
  • Conduct and ensure successful enrolments of assignees on a site.
  • Ensure that all assignees clocking information is accurately captured.
  • Raise any concerns with the Biometric systems on site to management.
  • Ensure that all assignees are familiar with the biometric usage procedure.
  • Provide accurate export files and signed reports to the Payroll Department.
  • Provide daily time and attendance reports to clients and management.
  • Perform general administration and filing tasks as and when required.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with the following software
    • Time and attendance software
    • Clocking systems / Biometrics
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of:

    • Payrolling Environment
    • Bio-metric Systems relating to Time & Attendance management

    • Understanding, speaking, reading, writing English
    • Advanced knowledge of computer systems in place
