System Administrator

SUMMARY:
Our client in Springs is looking for a Systems Administrator to provide technical 3rd line support on all infrastructure hosted servers, also Audio, Video, Telephony as well as support on Group applications such as Boost, Webex and SFTS. Virtualization skills would be preferred in Nutanix. Basic networking skills would be preferred. Must have own car and valid driver's license.

POSITION INFO:

Qualification and Experience:

• Grade 12 and MCSE 2012/2016
• Network related (CCNA or HP AIS) – preferable
• 3 years experience working with:
• Windows Server OS (2012 / 2016)
• Switching LAN (HP / Cisco)
• Active Directory
• CMBC
• MS Exchange (2016)
• VPN (Windows)
• Office 365
• WSUS (Patching)
• Video Conferencing technologies

Responsibilities:

• Incident Management for all Infrastructure systems
• Install, maintain and 3^rd line support Video Conferencing facilities
• Support on VPN incidents and requests
• Control the creation of 3^rd Party Partner Access for Support purposes to enable third parties to connect to our network and systems
• Assist with implementation and support Access Control Systems to prevent unauthorized access to our premises
• Support AD system (User creation, DL creation, User Support, File Structures, Security requirements, GPO management) to ensure high level of support and a stable accurate environment.
• Release Management on all infrastructure
• Daily, Weekly and monthly maintenance on all Infrastructure systems (Servers)
• Daily incident management on all Infrastructure system (Servers)
• Engage with Service providers
• Assist the Infrastructure Manager with all Infrastructure and Cyber Security projects.
• Implement and support Telephony systems to enable stable cost effective voice communication for BU’s 
• Implement support and maintain LAN (Local Area networks) to enable users to connect to systems and perform their duties
• Review monthly patching on Windows servers
• Configuration of Group operating system standards and naming conventions  
• Review Carbon Black & Anti-virus on Windows servers
• Review WAAAT Reporting on SG SOC
• Distribute Phisme Campaigns
