Supply Chain and Demand Planner

POSITION INFO:

Perform revenue forecasting, inventory level alignment based on seasonal demands, material planning, and procurement forecasting.

Manage stock levels.

Manage SKU’s nationally.

Stock deployment nationally.

Setup the monthly production plan with the requirements per SKU.

Production scheduling for factories weekly.

Compile all monthly, weekly and daily reports as required.

Setup the monthly production plan with the requirements per SKU as per plan.

Check that sufficient raw and packing materials are available.

Break down monthly production plan down into a Production Schedule Weekly and daily.

The production schedule is agreed with the factory managers.

Update the production schedule daily, and feedback is given in order to update the Demand management system that

includes the sales rate.

The MPS per SKU is calculated every day and feedback given to the factory managers. Any product short produced will be taken up to decide if the shortage should be re-planned.

The systems are updated daily and sent out to the relevant managers.

Compile all daily and monthly reports.

Continuously communicate with the Demand team once any production problems arise.

Setup the Monthly Sales Forecast by SKU with the input from the Sales and Marketing Team.

From the above determine the Production demand for the month by SKU with the necessary priority of production sequence.

Manage all SKU’s imported or manufactured by outside companies.

Daily updating of the system and reporting.

Maintenance of the system.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Demand Planning in FMCG environment

Netstock or similar demand management tool experience is essential

Production scheduling experience essential

Microsoft Office knowledge essential

Sage 300 ERP Knowledge beneficial
