Duration: Permanent

Supply Chain Analyst with experience specific to industrial goods manufacturing required to assist in material planning processes by analysing data and recommending optimal solutions to the business.

Requirements:

3-year Diploma or Degree specific to Supply Chain Management; Logistics or Industrial Engineering

3+ years’ experience within a Supply Chain Analytics role

Business process knowledge and understanding

MS Office suite with MS Excel at an advanced level

Duties and responsibilities:

Supply Chain related cost analysis

Investigate alternatives in various supply chain initiatives for cost optimization purposes

Gather, prepare and present supply chain specific information to the senior management in order to enable the business to make sound decisions pertaining to the supply chain function

Support various procurement/ buying business units with analysis projects (raw materials procurement, contracts, supplier management, inventory management as well as clearing and forwarding)

Optimization projects within Procurement           

Preparation of Executive Management and Board presentations

Should be willing to work in a plant environment from time to time when gathering and analysing information
