SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Structural Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team based in Johannesburg. This role offers exposure to a wide range of commercial, residential, and industrial building projects, with the opportunity to grow within a collaborative and technically driven environment.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Assist in the structural design and analysis of commercial, residential, and industrial buildings
Prepare structural calculations, models, drawings, and technical documentation
Work closely with the professional team to ensure accurate interpretation and delivery of design requirements
Attend project meetings and participate in design coordination
Conduct site inspections and prepare associated reports
Liaise with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams throughout the project lifecycle
Support the development of efficient, innovative, and compliant structural solutions

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years’ structural engineering experience
Strong software exposure, including: Revit, Tekla, Prokon
Experience in commercial building design (essential)
Ability to attend and contribute to technical and coordination meetings
Ability to conduct site inspections and assess structural compliance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Qualification:

BSc or BTech in Civil Engineering.

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
