SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for a driven and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join a dynamic engineering environment working on a diverse range of building and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys combining technical excellence with practical, real-world problem solving and close collaboration across disciplines.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Structural analysis and design using advanced finite element modelling tools
Preparation and review of detailed engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation
Close coordination with architects, engineers, draughtsmen, and construction teams
Structural assessments and site inspections during design development and construction
Ensuring alignment with applicable local and international standards and project requirements
Providing practical, buildable solutions to structural challenges as they arise on site

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 - 5 years of post-graduate experience in structural design and analysis
Proficient in FEM software such as ETABS, Autodesk Robot, Prokon, or similar
Strong working knowledge of SANS standards and local construction practices
Progress toward professional registration is advantageous
Detail-focused, technically confident, and able to communicate effectively at all levels

Qualification:

Beng/ BSc Civil or Structural Engineering
Masters in Engineering (advantageous)

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered
