Qualifications & Experience:

• 3–5 years proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the transport & logistics sector
• Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Strong technical understanding of:
  
  • Taut liner freight – national and cross-border
  • Side tipper operations – national mining sector
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Proven ability to design and pitch customised logistics solutions that meet client needs

• Drive new business acquisition, identifying and securing clients across multiple sectors
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share
• Build and nurture trust-based client relationships, ensuring a seamless customer journey from onboarding to after-sales support
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, maximising revenue within key accounts
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and sales forecasts
• Represent the company at industry events, forums, and trade shows
• Keep abreast of market trends, rates, and regulatory shifts to stay ahead of the competition
