SUMMARY:
Strategic Accounts Manager position in the East Rand to develop global and regional strategic accounts and national contracts with strategic customers that fall within the Engine industries (large mining houses, transport companies, etc) Grow market share in conjunction with existing distributor network.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB REQUIREMENTS

a. Technical Diploma (Mechanical Engineering / Business Management)

b. Proven technical sales track record

c. Experience in the mining industry would also be beneficial

d. Relevant experience of more than 5 years

e. Computer literacy with at least intermediate or advanced capabilities in MS Excel

f. Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills

g. Customer focused

h. Extensive travel as and when required

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

a. Management of the National Contracts team

b. Sales – Securing of National supply contracts

c. Contract development and management

d. Ensuring contract compliance

e. Technical support

f. Customer service

g. Developing of key staff and distributor staff responsible for servicing contracts.
