POSITION INFO:
Our client is a leading mining conglomerate operating in the North West, where operational excellence starts long before equipment reaches the mine. They're looking for an experienced Stores & Inventory Manager to take ownership of the stores function, ensuring inventory is accurately controlled, budgets are managed and materials are available when the business needs them. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, leading a team and making operational improvements that have a real impact on production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage stores and inventory function
• Control stock levels, consumables and inventory accuracy
• Oversee purchasing, receiving and issuing of stock
• Manage goods receipts and stock movements
• Drive inventory planning and budget control
• Monitor stock variances and improve inventory processes
• Lead and develop the stores team
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and inventory controls

• Relevant Degree preferred
• 5 to 10 years' experience in a similar role
• Mining industry experience is essential
• Proven management and leadership experience
• Sage experience
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
