Stores Controller

SUMMARY:
Our client, a long-standing manufacturing company, division of a listed group, seeks your store's inbound experience to manage, monitor and control the entire material warehouse environment.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain / Warehouse Management.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (pref. automotive).
• Experience in MS Office.
• Syspro experience, a strong advantage.

• Full functional control of all raw material warehouse locations.
• Supervise all warehouse staff and support within the warehouse environment.
• Manage and control the efficient movement of raw material – from receipt to storage to production.
• Ensure raw materials are well-organised / arranged to optimise warehouse space.
• Ensure the timeous support to production requirements.
• Ensure compliance and storage of chemicals and hazardous chemicals.
• Control all movements of raw material to production.
• Manage and control the process of ordering consumable items.
• Monitor and control of all cycle counts. Investigate variances, identify improvement initiatives, and measure improvements made.
• Full inventory control of all raw material locations.
• Monitor and control all store dashboards. 
• Train and support of employees on the system (Syspro).
• Support with racking and stacking requirements.
• Control forklifts and lifting equipment used within stores.
• Update and maintain raw materials file.
• Ensure all HSE, PPE and QA requirements are adhered to. 
• Monitor timesheets for wage employees.
• Support QA.
• Protect and develop the link between procurement, stores, and production.
