JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:
Qualification: Matric
Experience: 2 Years of experience in Warehousing and Stock Control.
Computer literate, Intermediate with Microsoft Suite and Software as well as knowledge of using ERP Systems.
Understanding of ISO Quality Standards.

Requirements & Skills:
Code B Driver’s License.
Able to work in a team.
Able to work by her/himself.
Good communication skills.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Good analytical skills - must be able to analyze different scenarios and make appropriate decisions.
Attention to Detail.

Job Overview
The storeman will be responsible for the execution of the daily operations of a store including ensuring best practices and meeting quality standards to achieve key results and support company strategies.
He/she is responsible and accountable for ensuring that goods received into or sent out from the stores are in good condition and correspond with the correct paperwork to ensure accurate stocks/records are held and customer/site deliveries are dispatched on a right-first-time basis.

Execute tasks as instructed by the Procurement Manager and Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities & Duties
1. Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures including:

Maintains receipts, records, and withdrawals and ensures it is kept up to date on the company’s ERP system.
Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
Track, document, and report any discrepancies on received orders.
Ensure accuracy of the facility’s inventory system by notifying the Procurement Manager of any adjustments.

2. Organize and maintain inventory and storage area (housekeeping and stock safe keeping).
3. Interface with variance departments to answer questions or solve problems and coordinate activities with other departments.
4. Assist in Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels (Manage inventory to ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels).
5. Demonstrate some product knowledge and maintain awareness of new products.
6. Responsible for packing, labeling, and returning supplies.
7. Responsible for stock rotation and coordinating the notification of expired stock.
8. Assist with the handling of freight and the movement of equipment, including the stock-flow between various warehouse facilities and manufacturing.
