Storeman

SUMMARY:
Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an experience Storeman.

POSITION INFO:
Take full responsibility for the store's function within the branch
Supervise and coordinate the activities of its staff
Monitor stock in transit and ensure no unauthorised stock movements are initiated to your store location
Monitor One-Step movements into your branch weekly and report on discrepancies
Review the weekly SAP-generated stock order and adjust as needed
Source stock from the head office or other branches as additional demand arises
Resolve stock queries from clients – reconcile stock on SAP, stock couriered, and resolve queries
Create a physical stock count
Enter physical stock count
Post physical stock count
Report on discrepancies encountered during stock counts
Monitor stock levels and propose new safety stock levels based on sales performance to minimise stockouts

Minimum requirements

Matric with at least 2-3 years’ experience at a Storeman I level
Ability to supervise and co-ordinate Stores activities within the branch
Working knowledge of SAP Warehousing, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
Knowledge of ZOHO CRM for repairs tracking
