Storeman required for a reputable tyre company based in East London
Key Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock, including tyres and related accessories.
- Accurately record stock deliveries and update inventory systems.
- Ensure proper storage of all goods in designated locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare stock for dispatch to customers and branches.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Assist with regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Report damaged, missing, or irregular stock to the Warehouse Manager.
- Support forklift operators or other warehouse staff when needed.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or storeman experience (tyres, automotive, or retail preferred).
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office and inventory systems).
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
