JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in the manufacturing industry has an EE opportunity for a Store Controller.

Requirements:

Matric
Warehouse management or stock control diploma - advantageous
Computer Literacy including SAP
Intermediate Excel spreadsheet knowledge.
Understanding of warehouse management.
Above average mathematical ability.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail.
5 years previous store control experience.
Experience in first line management.
Must be able to obtain a satisfactory medical report from the companies’ medical centre.

KPAs:

Make sure the receiving and issuing of stock is accurate.
Ensure that all items that need to be inspected are placed aside and that the relevant person is notified when products arrive.
Make sure the daily and weekly stock cycle counts are done and verified.
Ensure a proper lay-out of the store and that all products are in the correct place.
Make sure that proper communication exists between stores and clients.
Ensure that there is a regular flow of information regarding the issuing and receiving of stock.
Ensure that the stock on shelves are correspondent with stock on the SAP system.
Ensure that the stock is checked daily so that new product are ordered before they become out of stock.
