Store Assistant

SUMMARY:
The Stores Assistant is responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the store and warehouse. This includes accurate order handling, stock control, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick orders in line with customer requirements
• Pack orders efficiently and prepare them for dispatch
• Restock shelves and ensure stock is neatly organised
• Load delivery vehicles safely and in an organised manner
• Assist with loading customer vehicles during collections
• Follow up on outstanding orders to ensure timely fulfilment
• Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels
• Assist with stock counts and inventory control processes
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store/warehouse
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment (advantageous)
• Basic understanding of stock control and inventory processes
• Good physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
