Store Assistant

SUMMARY:
Our client based in George is seeking to appoint a motivated and reliable Store Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will support daily store operations, assist customers, and contribute to achieving sales targets while maintaining high standards of service and organisation.

POSITION INFO:
Description:

• Assist with day-to-day store operations
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with customer inquiries
• Support sales activities and help achieve store targets
• Handle merchandising and ensure the store is well-presented
• Assist with stock control, receiving, and inventory management
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar retail role
• Strong leadership potential
• Good understanding of the retail environment
• Hardworking, reliable, and results-driven
• Proactive with a “go-getter” attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work retail hours, including every second Saturday
• Basic computer literacy (POS systems and MS Office advantageous)

• Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
• Every second Saturday: 09:00 – 13:00
