JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have a superb opportunity within one of the largest independent motor groups in SA. Our client is opening a distribution centre and is looking for an experienced Stock/Inventory Manager to ensure effective and efficient service to various dealerships. You will be responsible for recording and analysing stock movement into and from the DC, ensuring that stock levels are adequate, clearing out dead stock, optimise inventory control procedures and anticipating future needs of the dealerships. You will be in control of vehicle stock, vehicle parts stock, vehicle accessories and merchandise. We are looking for a reliable professional with excellent record-keeping abilities, a business mindset and at least 3 years of experience in a similar position. Motor industry experience would be a huge advantage.

Job Requirements
At least 3 years of RECENT experience in Stock Management in a Distribution Centre
Excellent computer skills
A strong business and analytical mind
Motor Industry experience is highly beneficial
A degree or diploma in distribution would be an advantage
