POSITION INFO:

Job Title: Stock Controller (Stainless Steel / Aluminium)

Location: Randburg, Gauteng

Salary range: R 16 000.00-R 20 000.00 pm

Stock Controller (Stainless Steel / Aluminium) required for our client in Randburg, Gauteng. Must have at least 5 years in steel industry and understand steel grading

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

• Sourcing pricing from different suppliers
• Placing orders with mills
• Costing of imported goods
• Corresponding with clearing agents
• Capturing imported stock invoices and additional expenses invoices
• Plan processing jobs for client orders, stock & customer own material
• Liaise with sales personnel (on- & off-site) regarding stock requirements
• Capturing of stock movement & inventory journals
• Maintaining required stock levels on fast moving items
• Liaise with factory manager to optimize stock production
• Full stock take function
• Schedule deliveries
• Plan goods to be loaded onto truck for each day
• Correspond with customers regarding stock requirements per month
• Invoicing

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• Matric
• 5 years’ experience in Steel industry
• 2 years’ experience in purchasing
• Understanding of steel grading on Stainless steel and aluminium
