Stock Controller

SUMMARY:
Our client in the FMCG industry, has an opportunity available for a Stock Controller to be based in the Durban area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Bachelor of Business Science, Accounting & Economics
• FMCG, manufacturing sector experience essential
• Extensive knowledge of inventory management
• Strong MS Excel skills

• Responsible for verifying and controlling the movement of GOCM bulk products on a daily basis
• Verify and run production on Pastel for GOCM and ASO
• Load GOCM contracts onto Pastel
• Perform monthly inventory counts
• Liaise with supply chain to ensure warehouses are in a tidy countable condition and that there is no movement of inventory for the duration of the count
• Resolve inventory queries
