Stock Controller

SUMMARY:
A leading automotive dealership group is seeking a detail-driven, highly disciplined Stock Controller to manage the full lifecycle of new and used vehicle stock within a fast-paced retail environment. This role is critical to ensuring stock accuracy, audit compliance, and operational control.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of new and used vehicle stock
• Ensuring that physical stock matches system stock at all times
• Capturing and maintaining accurate records on the dealership system (Evolve / Autoline / Kerridge or similar)
• Managing all vehicle documentation (invoices, delivery notes, registrations, and licensing)
• Adhering to OEM and internal audit standards with constant audit readiness
• Monitoring stock ageing and producing accurate management reports
• Coordinating inter-branch vehicle transfers and floorplan processes
• Supporting Sales and Finance with stock availability and compliance release

• Matric (Grade 12) – essential
• 3–4 years’ experience in the retail motor industry
• Proven stock control and reconciliation experience
• Advanced Excel skills and DMS exposure
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
• Willingness to work weekends when required
