Stock Controller

SUMMARY:
Our client, an international manufacturer and supplier of specialised products, is currently looking to employ an experienced Stock Controller in their Port Elizabeth office. 

High proficiency in Pastel, Pastel reporting, and Excel AND sound knowledge of Inventory Management and Warehouse procedures secures!

Note : Candidates must have their own vehicle.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Matric qualification is essential. 
• Relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous. 
• Proven experience in a similar role. 
• High proficiency in Pastel, Pastel reporting, and Excel.
• Knowledge of Inventory Management and warehouse procedures,
• Possess good communication skills to interact with internal teams.

• Capture and manage incoming stock.
• Label creation. 
• Reports as requested by management. 
• Weekly cycle stock count checks.
• Reconciliation of final month end theoretical stock, before final stock take.
• Reconciliation of all main warehouses for final month end stock take.
• Investigate variances. 
• Recounts requested if theoretical stock versus actual does not balance.
• Knowledge of the process of stock movements.
• Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately received and stored.
• Review balance of inventory.
• Maintain checks on stock levels.
• Oversee every activity that relates to inventory control in the organization or warehouse environment.
• Candidates must have their own vehicle.
