Job Title: Stock Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Stock Controller to manage inventory levels, ensure accurate stock records, and coordinate with internal teams to maintain stock integrity. The ideal candidate will play a key role in monitoring inventory, conducting stocktakes, and identifying discrepancies to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders to replenish inventory as needed.

• Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts to verify physical stock against system records.

• Investigate stock discrepancies and report issues to management.

• Maintain accurate inventory records in the stock management system.

• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams to ensure accurate stock flow.

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock, ensuring accuracy and quality.

• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for accessibility and safety.

• Forecast demand and track inventory trends to minimize overstock and stockouts.

• Prepare reports on inventory levels, usage, and variances for internal use.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or warehouse operations.

• Proficient in inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Physical stamina to lift and move inventory as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in [specific industry, e.g., retail, logistics, manufacturing].

• Certification in inventory management or supply chain (e.g., APICS, CIPS).

• Forklift license (if relevant).
