Our client based in Parow is looking for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Executive. The role involves being at the heart of customer interaction and sales coordination.

It is essential to have worked in a Steel Company to be a successful candidate. We require someone who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and keeping the momentum going in a fast-paced industry.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

Matric, or relevant qualifications
1 – 2 years experience in Internal Sales – Essential to have worked in Stainless Steel or with Aluminium products
Experience in Syspro or Pastel
Computer proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans
Ability to negotiate
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently to carry out assignments to completion within instructed parameters given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

DUTIES

Preparing quotations and following up on quotations
Updating the price Matrix
Monitoring stock
Managing customer complaints
Performing general admin duties as required
Receiving and managing incoming sales calls and queries
Conducting cold calling to establish new business
Liaising with customers and external sales reps regarding deliveries and lead times
Being involved in order planning and following up on delivery dates
Being available to carry out stock takes

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
