Stakeholder Relations, Marketing & Business Development Manager – Rustenburg
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and dynamic Stakeholder Relations, Marketing & Business Development Manager to join an established organisation based in Rustenburg, North West.
We are seeking a highly driven professional with extensive experience in stakeholder and partnership development, business development, marketing, fundraising and relationship management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing strategic stakeholder relationships, identifying funding and business development opportunities, supporting SMME growth and market access, and driving marketing initiatives.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to a confident communicator and strong negotiator who can engage effectively with government, private-sector organisations, funding partners, SMMEs and other key stakeholders while managing multiple projects and deliverables.

POSITION INFO:
Summary of job function / responsibilities

• End to end development and management of the Stakeholder Relations, Marketing & Business Development function of the Company and SMMEs in incubation

• Matric / grade 12
• Undergraduate University Degree in Public Administration & Management, Business Management , Development Studies or Marketing, Degree or equivalent NQFL 7 related Qualification.
• Additional Certification in Marketing or Project Management and Stakeholder Relations or Business Development will be an added advantage.
• A South African Valid Driver’s License

• At least 10 years’ experience in Stakeholder Relations, Business & Partnerships Development, Marketing, Communications or related roles, experience in the SMME/MSME Development Sector will be an added advantage.
• Supervisory and/or Management experience, Practical Resources Management of 3-5 years.
• At least 5 years’ experience in stakeholder relations, partnerships development and sustenance, fundraising, events planning and implementation, trade facilitation and exhibitions or selling missions or activities.
• 5+ years in Partnership negotiation and formalization.

• Proven experience in both Stakeholder Relations, Marketing and management. Proven ability to work government developmental plans and reporting templates. Advocate for funding windows for SMME benefit.
• Regulatory Compliance PFMA (Public Funds Management Act 1 of 1999 section 51(1) (a) and procurement of goods and services are fain transparent, equitable, Competitive, and cost-effective incompliance with the PFMA (public finance management act 1 of 1999, section 380) and Treasury Regulations (National Treasury, March 2015).
• Strong people and entrepreneurs’ development management experience and Leadership.
• Ability to adapt to funder stakeholder systems of reporting
• Quick learner in digital environment, management of multiple SMME portfolios, growth plans, and business improvement planning & support.
• Business support and developmental acumen and experience.
• Working knowledge of minerals beneficiation or retail sector and marketing management.
• Experience in reports writing and data management.
• Ability to develop presentation and present for a wide range of audience and stakeholders at all levels.

• Responsible for Stakeholder Relations, Marketing & Business Development Unit Key Performance Indicator (KPIs), implementation and ensuring unit meets set targets, enterprises mentorship, developmental projections, and planning for the Company.
• Preparation and presenting of monthly and quarterly reports for CEO, Management, Stakeholders and Directors of the Company.
• Initiate and monitor fundraising initiatives to develop and grow the Company.
• Sound fundraising activities management in consultation with management team and CEO.
• Respond timeously to all queries raised by TPI funding and partnerships stakeholders and regulatory bodies in line regarding business development data.
• Build and maintain SMME relations and enterprise development through relevant interventions and new and other available tools within the Company.
• Ensuring market access initiatives for the Company & SMMEs and increase profitability scope for the SMMEs while maintaining a positive image for the incubator including online activity coordination, monitoring on social media and website.
• Conduct one open day and market day per quarter and improve the Companies pipeline.
• Management and coordination of relevant procurement in compliance with Policies, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, NPC related laws and regulations.
• Achieves Stakeholder Relations, marketing and Business Development operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to the Company and SMMEs marketing strategic plans and reviews, preparing, and completing action plans for such strategies.
• Managing and coordinating TPI Social Media activity and authorizing and or posting regularly to create awareness and demand.
• Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development.
• Provides information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential as required of Management and Staff.
• Projecting right and good image of the Company and its publics always
• Consult with service provider & mentors to ensure Business Development, Interns to ensure SMME growth.
• Consult with production management on an ongoing basis to ensure optimal SMME growth and support to enhance revenue and SMME sustainability.
